Wii Sells 4 Million, Outselling PS3 & 360

__________ This figure represents the fastest selling next-gen console, with Sony's PS3 only managing 1.4 Million units so far. Despite having a one year lead on it's competition, Microsoft's Xbox 360 has thus far only sold 8.3 Million units. It is only a matter of time before the Wii reaches, and surpasses this figure, which would put Nintendo in the number one position, possibly by the end of 2007. |

I swear there was a news post on here about Xbox360's being the biggest seller so far though it's hard to believe.

Historically, nintendo uses sold numbers while sony uses shipped numbers. I don't know anything about the 4 million mark though.

to get accurate sony numbers, multiply by 0.37 and that should account about accurately for returns and unsold shipped units.
 no, the wii is selling like beer at frat party...the 360 will hold the lead for a while though, especially when HD-DVD/BluRay begin to take off more |
