Of all the many worthy PC peripherals Microsoft has launched over the years, the snappily-titled Microsoft Gaming Receiver for Windows is probably not only the most unprepossessingly named, it's also quite possibly the least exciting to look at. However what this little grey and white gadget does is allow you to use any Xbox 360 wireless controller on your PC just like your 360-owning compadres. This includes both the rather pleasing MS Racing Wheel as well as the Xbox 360 controller itself and while we know there's already been a wired version out for a while in the latter's case, this is the age of wireless and it's entirely valid to say 'why go wired when you can go hands-free?'
