"With many major titles such as S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Command & Conquer 3 shortly available for the PC platform, it isn’t difficult to miss out on some of the less hyped games, especially when it’s being released from a developer almost nobody has ever heard of. More often than not, this usually means the game isn’t going to be particularly special or outstanding, though exceptions do exist and with that in mind, I picked up my copy of Infernal, a game from Polish developers Metropolis Software. To be honest, I wasn’t expecting much at all …."

I tend to agree with sandok on this one. its visually amazing and quite fun, but there are a ton of flaws with the gameplay and its not by any means a classic game. I hope personally that someone can make a better game out of the great engine.

From the video, I find that it has a Splinter Cell feeling to it. It's the way the character move and the placement of the camera. Of course the action look a lot more direct (less sneaky and invisible).

Are there moments of sneaking aroung or is it senseless killing all the time?

Unfortunately, there is no sneaking in Infernal, even if you try (I remeber trying to avoid some fights at some specific moments in the game without much success).

It's alot of killing

One can hope it's engine will be licensed to other game devs.

I think it should be, it is very pretty and scales well across a wide variety of hardware.

I have to say I quite enjoy playing this game, even though it has quite a few flaws and is irritating on many levels, it appeals to me. I always like playing a "bad" guy in a game anyway

Makes a change from being the usual "errand boy" in these kind of game.
