Games for Windows: Munich Edition @ Voodoo Extreme

___________
Vista has landed, so where the hell are the DirectX 10 and Vista-specific games? Well at yesterday's Games For Windows event in Munich I got a chance to check out a variety of the upcoming titles that Microsoft will be heavily promoting in the near future.

Before we get to my impressions, do you know precisely what a 'Game For Windows' is? Well according to Kevin Unangst, Director of Global Marketing, Games for Windows Entertainment and Devices Division, Microsoft Corp., it's a title that meets a sizeable checklist of requirements such as having parental controls, supporting the Xbox 360 game pad, and so on. And as the documentation on Microsoft's site shows, even an indie developer can make their title fully compliant without paying a penny, which is perhaps an even more pertinent point as Valve claimed Microsoft were only out to make a buck for themselves.
