After the huge influx of new releases which accompanied the European PlayStation 3 launch last week the UK sales charts have slowed considerably, although with still some movement of note – most obviously the entry straight into number one of Electronic Arts’ Command & Conquer 3.
The title is the first PC exclusive to hit the UK number one in several months and the first number one for the franchise in over seven years, when Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun – the last core game in the series – was released.
