Wii shortages could continue for second Christmas - analyst
Source: Gamesindustry
_______________ Shortages of the Wii are set to continue throughout 2007 according to analysts at Lazard Capital Markets, with Nintendo potentially missing key sales during the Christmas season for a second year running. And while the company increases production of the console to 1.5 million units a month, some analysts have begun to question the long-term appeal of the Wii amongst the casual gaming audience. "Demand still appears to exceed supply, and we believe that shortages could persist through the remainder of the year, including the key holiday period," commented Lazard's Colin Sebastian. |

If people are unable to get hold of a Wii now, they are fucking retarded and should consider looking other places then in their local whatever-mart.

You're right man. People tend to look in only one or two places, usually the most convient or closest places to them, like Wallmart, EB Games, Futureshop, or Best Buy, and never bother to actually look around. Mind you, these same people will sometimes do the opposite, and drive 25 miles to get a product $10 cheaper than from a store 2 feet away from them. Lost causes, all of them.

as I've previously ranted, people are sheep
![]() when I bought mine it was when all over the news was no chance of getting one in the UK, so I said fair enough and had one shipped from Germany instead. If I'd had the spare cash at the time I could have bought three and ended up with my own one for nothing, but ho hum. for some people if it's not in the half dozen shops that they've frequented all their lives, then they don't ever even think to look anywhere else. idiots. |

you also find certain news sites tend to post propangda regarding specific products. It is an age old scheme of creating demand.
