Antonio Hernandez is mad as hell, and he's not going to take it any more. As a long-time player of the world's most popular massively multiplayer online game, World of Warcraft, he's spent the last two years watching the in-game economy being utterly devalued by the actions of companies selling virtual currency to players for real money.

In turn, mmos should just limit you to your starting staff/dagger/sword and never let you increase your lvl so that everyone still ends up with balance. Some people will funnel thousands of thier own dollars to get every top item they can use at the time, followed by getting every rare item, in turn they expect to sell the items they bought for more then they paid, oventually all the players that would have had a chance of purchasing those same items at a normal value, now have no possibility of getting it at all.

Then the following happens

The rich get richers, the poor get poorer, the rich begin kicking the shit outa the poor, the poor get booted from the clans, the rich ask why the poor don't go and buy more gold so they can actually play with them and oventually, all you've got is top tier players that had purchased gold, don't know how to play the game well at all, forced the poorer players OFF the game, and the MMO gradually starts to die a horribly long winded death, because nothing is fun.

It's like buying a game genie before you even fired the game up once before to try and get through it. Your not playing the game, you freaking cheating your way to the end just to claim "I won" when in actuality, your a freaking sad bastard of a loser who just threw money at something so you could "appear" to be a winner.

Has anyone actually played with some of these jackasses? Quite often they will refuse to play with anyone else enless they have the similare stats of items on hand or equipment, and lvl. And if you so much as flake out for a split second your booted. But quite often they couldn't play the game if thier life depended on it, it's like giving a baby all the artilery and latest warfare technology available today, and then being abruptly shown that this baby died even though they had everything, sucker didn't know how to do anything/use anything properly.

End result, a shitty freaking game.

btw, the very sad truth is that usually these players are no in the starter zones, or they are for a extremely short period of time, and for new players joining, the starter places and lower lvl zones seem all dandy dandy as the real players are usually still lurking and willing to play together, however they get greeted by the above bullshit the moment they make it up into the higher lvls. At which point, they just spent a good amount of time working thier way up having fun getting to the endgame stuff and then being suddenly cut off from the climax of the game. It's like running through your favorite video game, only to be greeted by the credit before you get to the most favorite part of the game.
