I have never seen you so vocal about a specific game title.
I wish some of those newer console only racing games would be ported over for us PC users.
Colin Mcrae Dirt is all we have. Give it a break man. I realize you like racing games like Trackmania United so I take that into consideration when you bash a game. LOL

I have never commented on trackmania. Sandok reviewed the game, so pay attention for goodness sake. I will say however, trackmania united is a far superior game to colin mcrae dirt. On every level possible, well minus the HDR/juddering frame rate combo ...

Colin mcrae sucks, thats my view, and motorstorm not only looks better, it runs faster, the vehicles handle better and the gameplay is better.

However if you think im biased, watch our review when it goes up, cause Sandok is reviewing it, and he loves it. When it does go up and you read it, I expect nice comments about how awesome and fair we are (as I could edit his review and give it 20% if I felt like it)........

For some reason I thought you had reviewed TMU. It was just a cheap shot anyhow. I know you guys aren't bias towards any reviewed product. I trust most product reviews from this site. It is just strange seeing one line slams on a particular game by you.
I treat everyone equal and try to forget who has authority so that I do not have to alter what I would normally say to the average member.
Better not mess with a man's bike. It is all I have left of her. I miss riding more than anything, including any lost relatives or girlfriends.

To keep it on topic...I truly hope that CMD is not as bad as most people are saying. Maybe it will end up being like allot of other titles that have been built around a brand new game engine and end up being great after a couple of patches. With Vista just going mainstream and all the new hardware coming out also probably makes it tougher to make smooth playing games right now.

EDIT!!!!!- I can't believe that the only decent driving game that I have heard about coming out soon has freaking STARFORCE PROTECTION. Don't these damn companies ever learn. Come to find out the demo installs some of the SF drivers also. Now I have to hunt them down.

I was just kidding man. I was really looking forward to CMD to be honest, and I guess im ranting a little cause i feel so let down. Im just a gamer like the rest of you even though maybe some of you don't think I am.

I am sure a lot of people like the game however, so give it a shot. And yes ill shut up about it. We should have our review up soon.

I just found out about Starforce and now I don't know man. I told myself that I would not install anymore games with SF. I am going to have to see how it goes because there are rumors of more optical drive issues from this game.

I know some more of the demo and....while I was enthusiastic about it, I am not anymore. I played some Forza 2 and PGR 3 earlier and then DiRT again. I don't know why I didn't notice but DiRT feels as exciting to drive as Outrun. I didn't like Outrun. The car feels like it is gliding on the road/surface. Also it has some amazing grip on the road and breaks that the starship Enterprise would be jealous of. The cars feel very light and unless you are going at full speed, devoid of inertia law. There are times when it even feels like the AF would need an increase.
It just doesn't feel as fun and good as I believed it did a couple of days ago.

Seeing how there are now ways to combat SF from starting I decided to pick this game up.
This game is BIG and full of tracks and race types. I am only about an hour in and haven't even finished the first stage of career levels yet. If you have ever driven racing games and developed some skill then you will want to play on pro level, at least on level one. In the later levels if you do not have a wheel like I don't then you might have to lower the difficulty.

Finally a racing game which I like, years since i played a racing game which really catches me and that was one of the old McRae games
