Spore hit by massive delay?
Source: CVG
______________ Game Informer has reported that Spore has been delayed past fiscal 08 into fiscal 09, leading to speculation that a few consoles versions might be in the offering due to extra time given to the game. It wasn't long ago that we reported that EA expected Spore to slip and miss its fiscal 2008 calendar year, which ends in March 2008. News is now emerging that the game looks certain to miss this period and fall further into the company's next financial year. No official release date has ever been set for the game but with more and more stories cropping up about a release moving further and further away, it doesn't look like we'll get our hands on the game anytime soon. Hopefully E3 will shed some light on the situation. |

That's fine. The longer it's delayed the more I lose interest in the title.

Not that it was needed, but the delays of Quake Wars and Spore can almost certainly be traced to the PC to console porting.
