Microsoft has announced that this Wednesday's regular Xbox Live Arcade update will see another double header, with EA's Wing Commander Arena and Konami's Super Contra arcade update both headed to the service.

First announced in February, Microsoft says Wing Commander Arena will bring four modes of gameplay, nine maps and, for the first time, 16 player multiplayer combat to the service in a "perfect mix of arcade fun and modern multiplayer chaos."
