GH Competition: An ode to gaming winner!

Although the competition had a rough start, you guys managed to deliver some pretty amazing haikus later on. In fact, the more time passed the harder it was for us to decide on the winner. Still, after losing an entire night of sleep pondering on who should win this, we settled on the one and only Tipstaff.

From the many haikus he posted we were most impressed with the following one:

Supreme Commander
expand, conquer, end the war;
Annihilation

With a cunning selection of a wonderful game, a short overview of it and a dramatic end it was the culmination of what we wanted you guys to write.
That said, a lot of the other entires came in as close seconds, so we kind of wish there was more than one price to give away.

Congratulations to Tipstaff, and we wish you many a gaming hour spent with the new Wolfclaw keyboard!

To be honest, some of the ones that got posted afterwards by a Ferret, Tinkerhell, and Mazuko were really good. I thought for sure one of them would have won.

Mind you, before they started posting I thought for sure the one about The Great Mighty Poo was the clincher for me. Damn thing is so funny that it still puts a grin on my face whenever I read it.
