GameInvestors.com CEO David Perry has announced that the company has completed its first multi-million dollar investment deal, as venture capital firm Mayfield invests in massively multiplayer online (MMO) game publisher Acclaim Games.
Perry is well known as a vocal figure with the games industry and has overseen titles ranging from Earthworm Jim to Enter the Matrix. Since leaving Shiny Entertainment in February 2006, he has become involved in the production of several MMOs including 2Moons, DANCE! and what is currently codenamed as Top Secret - all for Acclaim Games.
