I've said this elsewhere: the game should not be released yet.

They still have yet to figure out a major issue that causes the game to crash to the desktop, or freezes the screen with the error behind it which says, "Memory has been exhausted. The application will now close". This error was showing up primarily in Vista before the last 2 builds, but since then has become a major issue on both OS'. All we can tell is that the game, apparently, isn't releasing ram, or rather not unloading textures from previous zones, and fills up the ram rather quickly. You could get anywhere from 3-15 minutes to 3 hours playtime before it crashes. It also doesn't matter how much ram you have either. Just look at the specs for my gaming rig. 4GB of ram, equal sized Windows managed pagefile, and about 80GB left HD space. Seriously, I shouldn't be running out of memory for a loong time.

Anyways, for anyone interested just join the HLG forums, and you will see thread after thread on this error. This error happens all the time. While it isn't consistently tied to one thing, it is consistent in that it always happens... without fail. The game just doesn't release ram, and that means it will crash eventually, whether it's in 3 minutes or 3 hours, it happens. Until they fix that issue they shouldn't be golding this just yet.

Edit: I realize this isn't the place to have posted this, but honestly, it's not done yet, and I'm rather shocked that they think it is.

Just so you know, they have in house testing. We did not have the full build, they did. We tested network issues mostly. You can breath now, hellgate will be a solid game out of the box. Will there be bugs, there sure will be,but will it be as bad as your saying, nope!
