GH Review: Stranglehold (PC)

Some games go out of their way to try and push the envelope of gaming - either technologically or as a form of art - and some just use the available technology and mould it to fit their goal of providing a package of mindless fun. Stranglehold is firmly standing in the latter camp, where content and fun drives the development and the technical details are secondary to the game. What you get is a tight package of M-rated, over-the-top gun play without any pretences for a deep and involving storyline - and there is nothing wrong with that.

i agree- so far to what i have seen- wow! plus the main guy is wicked!

the only problem i did have the game stalled a little bit- prob just demo or something- i fully updated my drivers- downloading demo again and will play again- rock on

this game is problem city..i went on midways help forum..the only solution people found regarding this game was some Nvidia beta drivers.. i dont care about nvidia simply because im using ATI cards..

great another cool game and it messes up- thank god i didnt blow money on this crap - oh looks amazing..sounds amazing..but crashes after menu...oh an i completed all driver uninstalls reinstall driver cleaner pro all that stuff..and wound up with another game that is messed up...hl 2 now this.. monolith- sega and crytek are amazing- i dont get how this game messes up seriously- isnt it U3? well thankfully alot of people are complaining- bsod/black screen issues

im one of the people with game crash after menu- yay! oh man..these companies gotta test their stuff out before selling it..really- TEST IT out!! otherwise players wind up losing their hard earned cash...damn... im gonna see what i can do..maybye something on ati but i am NOT going to spend my time troubleshooting- the heck with that..that is their job- otherwise the hell with midway and this hunk of junk! imma play Guild Wars- which runs perfectly hehe- then fear...and condemned.. all great games! good luck and good gaming- DO NOT BUY THIS GAME- at least for now- if your lucky and it runs - coodles- otherwise stay away!
