News just in - those that have pre-ordered Crysis through EA are now able to download the demo. You should have an email notification about this! There are reports that this may be still encrypted and not available until a later time. The public release should be exactly 24 hours later after this release.

I'm sure, but it may be encrypted defeating the purpose of using the torrent..

Encrypted demos...man I must be old because I remember the day when demo's were readily available now they're practically game releases

Word is, it's 2.4 gig too

From what I understand, its 1.8gb.

Who ever thought of encrypting a demo must have rocks in their head. I don't see this as being positive for the EA.com store. My guess is it's not going to exactly help their cause.

EA has released some some more information regarding the demo, and it's not good.
