Sega Announces House of the Dead Bundle For Wii

Source: Gamasutra
____________
Officials from Sega have confirmed the release next spring of The House of the Dead 2&3 Return for the Wii – a conversion of two of the entries from the popular lightgun series, which will also be compatible with the new Wii Zapper peripheral.

Although there is no explanation for the absence of the 1996 original, the sequel was originally released in arcades in 1998, before being converted for the Dreamcast in 2000. The House of the Dead III was originally released in arcades in 2002 and on the original Xbox a year later.

A fourth game in the series was also released in 2005, using Sega’s propriety Lindbergh arcade technology, but despite rumors of an Xbox 360 conversion has never been officially announced for home consoles.
