3D Realms isn't pulling any punches when it comes to violence in Duke Nukem Forever, if comments from George Broussard are anything to go by.

"I like... blowing the heads and arms off of things", the 3DR boss said in an interview on ShackNews when asked about his favourite parts of the game.

He explained that it'll have the FPS glory days' OTT gibs, but in a way that makes sense.

"Shotguns pull limbs off, but not a machine gun or pistol. Explode something or set off a pipe bomb and you can remove limbs that are within splash range and take enough individual damage. But yes, gibs are back", he said.
