Microsoft slashes price of 360 HD-DVD player

Microsoft has slashed USD 50 off the price of the Xbox 360 HD-DVD player in the US, Canada and New Zealand.

The movie peripheral will now retail for USD 129.99, down from USD 179.99, and can still be bought with an offer that gives the consumer five free HD-DVD movies.

i thought this was already posted a few weeks back?

where we had the option of 179.99 for an HD-DVD player w/5 movies included, or just the player itself for 129.99

Sorry My Mistake.I knew the was a article corresponding to this news release a while back,It did not show up in the search first time round.I presumed the previous related to the uk more than the us.

After you mentioned that and strangely i had found the post i made (back in dec 07) which was for the us..
