The promised new version 0006 patch for World in Conflict is now available on Massgate.net. Word is: "This sixth update primarily fixes some balancing issues, but also introduces a number of new features, including enhanced server filters, improved “Play Now” functions and measures against clan smurfing. Aside of that, there are also several additions to the various communications tools in the game." These patch notes offer complete details on the patch, and the US version is mirrored on FileFront, FileShack, Gamer's Hell, Internode Games Network, and The Patches Scrolls; while other localized patches are mirrored on FileFront, Gamer's Hell, Internode Games Network, and The Patches Scrolls.
