It's like looking at the insides of an expensive watch - everything keeps moving. Ryu Hayabusa, the returning hero of Ninja Gaiden 2, has just cleared a room packed full of enemy ninjas, Or so he thought. The mutilated bodies of his foes, severed at the waist, slowly inch towards Ryu's feet, driven by their compulsion to serve a mysterious new enemy that wants Ryu dead at any cost. Their perseverance would be pitiful if they weren't still so deadly - Ryu lowers his Dragon Blade and deals the final blow, a merciful Obliteration Strike that sends claret flying all over the shop. He shakes off his blades (watch and you'll see the blood land on the floor with a splat), returns them to their sheaths and continues his journey. What's awaiting us in the next room? Yet more bloodthirsty ninjas, we'd presume. This time, Ryu must die. And they're going to achieve their goal - or break your fingers trying.
