Trust me, I was as disappointed as you were by Red Faction: Guerilla's first screenshots when they slipped out a month or two ago. As a huge fan of the first two titles in the series -- beautifully paced first-person shooters with unparalleled destructibility thanks to their GeoMod engine -- I was less than thrilled with the new third-person perspective, bland desert environment, and awkward-looking characters. Well, things are different now; I recently played an early version of game, and have come to terms with its new approach. I'm genuinely excited to see what the final product turns into.
