Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has joined the hoo-haw over GTA IV, saying it'll make "goo-gobs" of money for Rockstar but dumm-kopfs of America's children.

Video games DO NOT PROMOTE VIOLENCE and playing video games are fun lol!!!!

well...... he is somewhat correct....

if the kid is retarded to begin with or takes in these images in the wrong way, they WILL promote violence.....

but there are very few people like thatt... and most of them are either in prison or in a mental institution....

the REAL world ill do WAY more damage than a game to a regular human mind...

speaking of which... why dont someone come out with some kind of educational game (not academically or too conspicuous as such a game) that contains all the little details about real life in a game.... well what i have may be too far beyond today's technology though....

kinda like living a life but not really.... kinda like SIMs but WAY more complex and more intune with REAL stuff that they'll face and get to see in game before they go and see it for real....

lol.... ive seen plenty of people that can get influenced like this.....

theres my retard little cousin that is all bragging that he plays ESRB T games.....

he is the most influential midget i know.......

then im just sitting on the couch while hes saying this stuff...... and im just like "dude.. i dont give a fuck about what the hell you play.... nearly all my games are M and ur too stupid to play them T games"

lol and then he gets pissed and tries jacking my games so then i kick him in his stomach.... he kept on trying to so yea.... i gave up working with him, his dad (my uncle) doesnt really care that i smack him around because im always the one who's right...

nearly all of that came from the games he plays.....

This man is amazing. He's not like "yeeeeehaw ban GTA it's teaching kids to kill" he just said the game isn't made for kids. Then he acknowledges that they are playing it, and part of the challenge in the future is to get America to inspire kids to put down all these forms of entertainment and desire to be active in their studies.

Someone with a brain is making progress in politics, what has this country come to?
