Publisher Take-Two has announced the development of Sid Meier's Civilization IV: Colonization (PC), a new expansion for Firaxis Games' popular turn-based strategy title.

The new expansion pits players as one of four European nations looking to conquer and rule the New World while escaping their oppressive motherlands and battling natives and rival nations alike for control of new territories.
