Let me give you an idea of how absurdly detailed Empire: Total War is: the game accurately models buoyancy. Every musket ball is accurately modeled using the game's physics engine. The land battle maps are generated from NASA satellite imagery.

Empire: Total War is a model kit of a game. Based on my time with the game, I can say that naval combat has been brilliantly realized, with a level of polish that honestly left me stunned.

Yeah...buoyancy will make any strategy gamer feel excited about this game...
It would be nice if he/she would actualy go more into things that matter, like the AI and little things like the strategy involved in the game instead of how beautiful it will look. At least if he/she is going to make claims of this game going to be a strategy fan's wet dream.

I don't they they had enough time to properly gage the AI and that sort of stuff. They game looks great though. It will be nice to have a proper naval combat game.

Let's be honest with ourselves, both Medieval2 and the expansion Kingdoms had severe bugs in the beginning and even now have major flaws with the AI which Creative Assembly seems unable to fix. Can they provide proper AI for this game? I know they are going to rush it out quickly but I hope they've finally fixed the issues of the previous games.
