why is it so hard to understand? the wii is cheap and fun and you get a whole lot for little compared to the other consoles.....

Exactly, and on top of that Nintendo implemented the new Motion sensitive controls which are nothing new but haven't been used before as the center of a console which makes everyone go "OMG GENIUS!"
Whereas Microsoft and Sony are just slapping more and more powerful hardware into their consoles.

sure Microsoft made everything and it's mother wireless but at the end of the day, hardcore gamers like the ones MS were supposedly targeting prefer wires so their equipment doesn't die on them mid match
