Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee and Exoddus Now on Steam

The PC editions of Oddworld Inhabitant's beloved and bizarre action-adventure titles Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee and Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus are now available for purchase from Valve's PC digital distribution client Steam.

Originally released on PlayStation in the late 90's, both side scrolling games were quickly ported to the PC by Digital Dialect. Each game sells for $9.99, with a two-game combo pack going for $14.99. Per Steam tradition, both games be discounted by 10% during their first week of availability.

After playing these in the old days of the ps1 i loved these games.. After going through steam to see if they have available demos,Which is currently hosted on steam.

What a bugger one main poblem... according to steams demos these are for XP only.

That's too bad, I absolutely love these games. Probably are two of my favorites.

I bought both titles through steam for nostalgia's sake, not sure if I would even be able to play them. I installed both on my vista laptop and had no trouble starting and playing the beginning of each game. Sound worked, no immediately noticeable glitches. I think the "2000/XP only" thing means that they don't provide tech support for the game if it is installed on vista.

The demos seem to work without issue on Vista 64-bit, so the full games should be fine I'd imagine.

Thanks for the info,What i said earlier was more due to the demos would not install in my steam account last night..
