Agreed ... it needs to stop in all honesty if companies want to reduce piracy then release the game in europe , Japan and the US at the same time

dont release it in america a month before europe as piracy is al,ost certain

same with films stop giving america the pie and just release it everywhere at the same time

piracy would drop quite a bit if people didnt have to wait .... nothing more anoying than waiting for a film/game and knowing that the americans are already watching/playing it

Messed up release dates also kill buzz for good games. Remember Call of Warez, er Juarez? I believe it was out 6 months before in Europe by the time it came to US it was a quiet release. Worldwide buzz on all the gaming sites at the same time is the best way to create hype for a game.

The first Stalker game had so many delays by the time it reached the market the graphics lost it's "wow" factor. Plus the game was shit. So many bugs, super boring, way to big maps. I was anticipating that game for 5 years and when I played it, it broke my heart. The screenshots looked way better than the game also for some reason.
