Xbox 360 to be lowest-priced next-gen video game console

One of the the biggest selling points of Nintendo's Wii video game console since its launch nearly two years ago has been that it was the lowest-priced of the trio of next-generation machines, which also includes Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Sony's PlayStation 3.

Big whoop, it's the Arcade version and it's damn near useless. It'll cost more than the difference of the price cut just to buy all the things you'll need to actually get some playability out of the 360.

I say let them keep calling the 3 year old Xbox 360 "next gen" because when the next model comes out they'll have to invent a new term for it.
