Developer Epic Games and publisher Microsoft have provided us with a new look at the Nov. 7-due action game sequel Gears of War 2 (360), which discusses the title's "meaty" and "crunchy" sound design while offering up some gameplay footage.

halo is a crappy serious..

GoW however is far from it imo...

Gameplay first. It's nice to know they are attempting to better themselves with a higher standard of quality.

I don't think i could call Halo a crappy series either. Halo 3 was pretty kewl. I hate console games, and yet my son got me to play it a few times. I thought it was better then the first and 2nd, but that's just my opinion.

I believe GoW got hyped way to much, it's a "decent" game and I guess it was a sucess on the 360, because the lack of good ultra-violent FPS games for it. But the gameplay was way to repetive for my taste, I got bored real quick and I belive the famous Mad world trailer for the game, really what uped the hype.

I know many doesn't agree and it got pretty good reviews, so somebody seems to like it a lot, I don't
