Now available on FileShack are the promised patches that bring all the changes and additions of The Witcher Enhanced Edition to those that bought the initial release of CD Projekt RED's PC fantasy RPG.

Even without the patch it is damn good, can't wait to play this. They fixed all the shortcomings from the looks of it.

I would HIGHLY suggest playing it.

I'm waiting for a couple of quiet days to sink into this polish(ed) gem.

Might even buy the enhanced edition box even though I have the original and don't have to. It's not so expensive at some places and here's a developer that deserves a bonus, something that I don't say very often.

Have any of you used this patch from this site to uncensor the US verson? This file is supposed to get the US censored version of the game to be the same as the european uncensored version, with all the nudity and all the cool finishing moves added back into the game.
Has any one tried this out yet???

I am officially pissed the **** off at Atari. Not one copy of the original Witcher sold in Canada included a cd key, so when all the Canadians tried to install the patch, we can't. Now I have to wait another who knows how long before Atari decides to get back to me with a valid CD key.

If they are Canadian editions they don't have the key. If they get them from somewhere else maybe they have them. But AFAIK no Canadian has received a key besides those who bough the Enhanced Edition.

Looks like UK import versions, not sure if they've actually got keys or not, posts on their forums are contradictory.

Either way, pretty lame move by Atari.

There was no nudity and some gore was tuned down as far as I know.

I am looking for the complete enhanced edition in Slovenia, but it isn't sold here.
Will probably have to buy one from UK and import

I have heard the uncensored version has more cool finishing moves.
