The buzzword associated with the release of the first Saints Row was "clone." It had plenty of modifiers, too: proficient clone, adequate clone, and beautiful clone. But what happens when the clone starts to look less like a copy and more legit? If you compare it to the PS2-era Grand Theft Autos, Saints Row 2 is more GTA than Grand Theft Auto 4. Heresy? Sacrilege? Grounds for public execution? Maybe. But consider that GTA4 has no gang affiliations, no airplanes (and thus, no parachutes), sometimes punishing driving mechanics, and a more "serious" tone -- and then consider that Saints 2 has an answer for all of these -- and you can begin to see my point.

Now this is really a game no sod can agree on.

So, is saints row a poor mans GTA, or what GTA4 should have been? Revieweres can't seem to agree either, Edge gave it 5/10, yet XBM gave it a 9, and you guys liked it too.

Defo one for my LF queue, that said, theres a PC version? Might get that one, especially as I expect it to be cheep. (Indeed it is £23 from ASDA with Free Delivery), hmm.

If you liked the first one, get this one. It's more of the same, only more and a hilarious script. The scripted sequences for missions are top notch.
Love the game so far, just finished all the brotherhood missions. I will defeat most of the game and then do the extra activities so that I have some friendly fire when needed.

Some fps problems here and there, about the same as the first game. There is an occasional hang/crash of the system that I wish they fix one day. Not the biggest problem, but still annoying.
