Last week Sony released firmware 2.50 for the PS3. However, in a bizarre turn of events the latest firmware prevents the PS3 from displaying an image on some state-of-the-art Sony home theatres.

Maybe because they ship updates more often. I never had any problem with the updates and none of my friends hasn't either. But off course if you ransack the entire internet, there will always be somebody with some kind of problem.
