Stardock's Copyright Security Solution

On Friday, Stardock CEO Brad Wardell revealed to Edge that his company is developing a non-intrusive copyright security solution for external publishers.

I like Stardock, but let's face it, drengin.net and totalgaming and now impulse, always had DRM. Yes, you could freely copy/backup the game you downloaded, but it is not like you could do anything with it unless you activated it online through their servers. So basicaly for all the games available through their digital destribution packaging, they may say there is no DRM, but it is just a play with words.
I think, apart from gog, the only major publisher/system of downloaded games that doesn't have something like this is Matrixgames and they doing a great job about it.

Still, good luck to them.

You forgot the biggest DD platform, Steam, which has the most protective DRM ever, yet it is generally regarded as the best gaming platform ever made, scary.

I'm all for "non intrisuive" DRM, but I'd rather see DRM that worked first and foremost, something that it is clearly not at this time.
