EA tells users to "try guessing" missing security key
Electronic Arts has misprinted CD keys on the manuals for Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3, leaving some consumers unable to play the game.
The CD keys should be 20 characters long, but due to a misprint, some manuals feature only 19 characters. However, the company's customer support service has suggested a simple solution – try guessing the missing digits. ____________ Source: Gamesindustry |

I wonder if they would miss more numbers and ask people to guess them and they will say it is willful to give users more fun and wasting their time
Or may be they may advise the users to download hackers keygen to the game

Oh EA, you're finally making decent games but you still haven't the art of customer relations. Firstly your staunch support of SecuFail is alienating vast amounts of customers while pirates laugh at their cracked versions anyway, and your customer service...sucks.
Message to EA: Stop fighting with the consumer damnit.

And people wonder why piracy is so rampant. Even if you buy a game you can't play it ... hahahah.

Hmm, Kotaku has this story as well, and it seems the support page they linked to now says "Call Us" or "Email Us".

Good, although it shouldn't require a backlash to correct an issue that frankly beggars belief.
