World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King

World of Warcraft is the king of the hill. Over 11 million players worldwide and still growing - even as competitors try to nab a bite of the market so utterly dominated by Blizzard. At the top of the hill, with no serious competitor in sight to challenge the status and with piles of money pouring in every month. What does Blizzard do? They raise the hill. Enter the second World of Warcraft expansion pack, Wrath of the Lich King.

Re: World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King

Hi,

Do we have many WoW players on here? I'd be interested in the amount of playtime it's took people to go from 70>80 in WotLK - I wish I had more time to play it myself!

The only real competition WoW has is Warhammer Online, however I don't know the exact userbase that WAR has but it is nowhere near the catch of WoW's 10 million +

Being an ex Dark age of Camelot player since it was released I wasn't overly keen in Warhammer Online at the start, I was in the early closed beta but the game didn't have the same appeal DaoC did - it will be interesting how long Blizzard can span out WoW with the addition of expansions and new endgame content etc.

Regards

Rob
