5 Classic Games You Need to Play

I used to do these a lot a few years ago and I don’t know why I didn’t do one last year. So this time I’m bringing another Pato game club. This is essentially my version of a book club but with video games. My goal is to cite a few niche titles that this year would be perfect for a download or ebay to play through. Lets do this.

Why exactly do I need to play these? Especially since the comments about the games are that they're not all that great.

Actually, Secret of Evermore and Super Metroid are phenomenal titles. I just wish Evermore would come out on VC.

Even at that age of being 15 years old now.... Super metroid is still a excellent fun as hell game to play. And i've played through it probably 200+ times.

I've been contemplating taking back the world record for 100% timed run through the game... i think i could easily do it within 45 minutes (current is 54 minutes i think)

Secret of Mana is an damn good game, never played evermore cause it had such a horrible review and the system setup although ripped from mana, seemed to have it's quirks. Potential.... but failed from my understanding.

The illusion of Gaia was a "good" game.... but nothing amazing imo.

What i'm serprised to not see on the list is "The Guardian Legend" .... it falls right in line with Super Metroid... just the equivelent to the shell shocking awesomeness of the super metroid on the SNES only the Guardian legend on the NES..... incredible graphics considering what the NES was made of. Even some SNES games didn't look at good as the NES guardian legend.
