Left 4 Dead 2 Pre-Purchase On Now

Oct 2, 2009 - Valve, creator of best-selling game franchises (such as Half-Life and Counter-Strike) and leading technologies (such as Steam and Source), today announced pre-order details for its upcoming action thriller, Left 4 Dead 2 (L4D2).

Starting now, those who pre-order L4D2 via Steam will receive early access to the Left 4 Dead 2 demo (currently targeted for October 27) plus an exclusive in-game item - the American baseball bat, one of the 10 new melee weapons included in the game.

In addition, Steam is offering a 10% savings to those who pre-order.

Still somewhat expensive , probably deserves 30-35 $ IMO.

First L4D with mods is still enjoyable

im still pissed at what they did last year. i paid 50 bucks for it at release. less then 2 weeks later for thanks giving sales they knocked it down to 25. plus weve gotten next to none of the support they said htey were going to give the game.

when they said they were going to support it like they do TF2, i kinda expected them to do that. not.... heres a couple vs maps that should have been included with release, a piss poor survival mode, and a few fixes here and there.
