Painkiller: Resurrection Demo
A playable demo for Painkiller: Resurrection is now available, offering the chance to sample the latest installment in this supernatural shooter series. Here's a bit on the game: "This new installment introduces a new Coop-Multiplayer campaign mode, new levels, new monsters and a whole new story. The demo offers a mere taste of the raw Painkiller action, check out improved shadows and texture resolution, moveable light sources, post processing, motion blur, ambient occlusion and all the carnage you can handle!" The download is available on AtomicGamer, ComputerGames.ro, eXp Download, FanGaming, and Gamer's Hell.

Im curious to how the demo is supposed to be installed... As most demo's are set as a exe. file...

For some reason (D/L from Gamershell) and extracted from the zip file...

When i go to install this from the file its asking me to burn the ISO to a dvd..

weird... daemon tools should let you mount the image and install it though. seems like a pain in the ass for a demo released to the general public.

Actually thats a good point... Now if this d/l requires a dvd i will try it out and install...

Archiver software like 7-Zip can also "extract" ISO files for easy handling of the contents.

WinRAR can do that too, but I guess the question is why they decided to take this weird choice.


I tried to download the demo earlier but at terrible download speeds it would take another 5 hours and I rather play some Renegade now.

The Download from Gamershell may of been corupt...

The download from Atomic Gamer was much slower,But installed fine..

There are many graphical errors in this demo its hard to see any potential with this one.
