Modern Warfare 2 Adopts Steamworks on PC

Activision and Valve today announced that they've hammered out an agreement to get Valve's Steamworks suite of tools onto the PC version of Infinity Ward's Modern Warfare 2.
"All PC versions of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be powered by Steamworks, providing gamers with auto-updating, anti-cheat technology, Steam Achievements, and the recently introduced Steam Cloud," reads the release.

Between you and me (and the countless people checking DH/GH). it looks like MW2 will fail, or at least sell far less than the first one.
The main reason the first sold as many as it did was because of the huge fan base for the online component. IW is screwing this now so it will be fun to watch the result.

(I wasn't going to buy the game anyway, with its short single player game and all).

For me , I will skip through this one just as I skipped COD 4 , 5.

5? Is that World at War? I thought it was a fun game, a bit short, but the main reason I got it was for the zombie game in it.
