Assassin's Creed 3 To Have Multiplayer?

With Assassin's Creed 2 just around the corner, Ubisoft's Montreal team are already thinking about the direction of their next Assassin's title.

Speaking to IncGamers and after being asked why the "creed" hadn't been utilised for multiplayer, AC2 producer, Sebastian Puel, has said that co-op and multiplayer is something the team has considered.

Meh.. some games just doesn't need MP.

Co op assasins would be fun and a large 1 v 1 capture the loot style assasin game would be pretty interesting

as long as the same effort goes into the main SP game i have no problem

It would be kinda odd though, they would have to introduce an opposing faction of assassins or perhaps some sort of mutiny, otherwise it would be assassins versus palace/town guards?
