Class action planned for Xbox bans

Law firm AbingtonIP is encouraging users who have had their Xbox 360s banned from Xbox Live to contact them in anticipation of a class lawsuit.

As discovered by website IncGamers the firm, which specialises in consumer class actions, has set up a form on its website for anyone who was banned from Xbox Live for owning a modified console. The recent actions by Microsoft to remove such users is rumoured to have affected up to 1 million people.

LOL! This is just as ridiculous as a rapist suing their victim for having given them aids during the course of raping them. "Well, they didn't tell me they had aids. If they did I wouldn't have raped them." I mean, come on. These people knew what they were doing was wrong. They knew the consequences of getting caught. They agreed to the terms of service BEFORE getting onto Live!, of which section 16 of the Live user agreement details what would happen if they got caught. They have to read and agree to that before they can get onto Live! in the first place. So, what? Now you are going to cry because you did get caught? Pa-lease.

Honestly, people, what are you going to do? Admit that you are a pirate? That you pirated their games? Admit that you modified your 360s in order to play pirated games? As soon as you do you paint a big bright target on your back for which Microsoft can turn around and sue your @$$ for breaking any number of other copyright infringements, and not just Microsoft, btw, but even the holders of the copyrighted material you just pirated.

Yeah, go ahead, sign that petition. I dare you. No, I double dare you. Stupid mofos.
