How much do you spend on games every year?

It is hard to determine the amount spent per ÿear, but I would say it is a lot more than I would even know.

I only buy a handful of games a year. No more than a few hundred dollars worth.

I honestly don't know exactly. I don't keep track. I try to wait until prices get low before buying but sometimes I yield and buy the full price at release.

This year, I think I bought 4 Xbox 360 games, 1 PS3 game, 4 Pc games. It probably cost me around $200 CAD.

I also rented games. It cost about $12 CAD for three days. I probably rented about 5 games in the year, for a total of about $60 CAD.

Renting is not cheap. I wonder how much money goes back in the pockets of the game developpers/publishers.

Besides the actual game purchases I'd also have some mmo suscription going.
I'd say console owners spend the most overall.

If I include the subscription costs then I just scrape over the line for about $500.
