How many hours a week do you game?

For me it must be between 10 to 20 hours...

Bare in mind i do have a duty to help out here at DH,Most of this time is usually over the weekends..

Its so pleasing i can continue with Football Manager 09 through out the whole week.That it enables me to minimize the game whilst using the Internet at the same time.

sometimes i game for several hours...about 15/wk. and sometimes i don't game at all for weeks on end. it all depends on how much time i have. once i graduate from school though, i would imagine i'd be gaming a little more than what i currently do

Never, during term time I am banned (although I can easily sneak on, I have banned myself) because of school work

Holidays my mum tries to limit me to 1 hour per day, but...... yeahh

I'm forever claiming that i hardly game, but i do spend quite a lot of time during nights when i can't sleep getting fragged on CS:S and trying to complete a few more % on Burnout
apparantly between 30-35 hours a fortnight, so i voted 10-20 hours per week

i do spend some limited time occasionally playing consoles, but added up and taken as an average i can't imagine i exceed 20 hours a week.
its actually quite a lot more than i would have thought (that's why i took a bit of time to vote, so i could keep an eye on myself and be vaguely accurate)

I just found this thread so am going to add my 2 cents :

I used to game a lot when i was still in university but as i get older i find that i hardly game as much anymore, I think it mainly because i dont have the time anymore; i.e. with work and social obligations and all that sort of stuff. But i really miss those endless nights of staring at the PC screen trying to figure out how to kill a boss or how to finish a game

life was much more fun back then

So , I guess there is an advantage finally of the college for me. lol.

I am pretty busy now , most of the time outdoors going to or coming from the college that I can hardly game 3 hours or more a day.

Under 10, easily, I've probably played about 10 hours worth of games in the past 2 months.

Last year of university is not allowing me much free time.

I got injured at work so I'm spending most of my time at home. So I've been clocking up the hours bigtime.

So I would think 20 - 50 normally, but probably quite a bit more at the moment.

50-100 easy. I have plenty of time now that I'm retired

Been doing mostly Fallout 3 and IL2.

Once I get those 4870's up and running, I think I'll do another run through of Far Cry 2, and maybe the Halflife 2 series with the Cinematic MOD.

Most of the time I never game. But then there will be a few days a month where I will game all day long.

Currently xfire tells me under 10, however when I put effort into a game competitively it runs around 40, so I'm averaging mine out with 10-20.

There are not that many games that deserve my attention. When a good game comes along, I have to finish it, but that rarely happens (good games that is).

Most of the time it depends on how well me and my friends can coordinate for an online gaming session.

There are weeks with 50-80 hrs, and there are weeks with 0 hrs. It matters I think what age you are, what problems you have, what job you have and all that is considered living these days. If a really good game comes along, I just forget about my problems and for a brief period I disconnect from real life.

I voted "under 10 hours" even though "I game when I can, it varies" is a relevant answer as well. It's just that the variations rarely cross the 10 hours line. I did clock a few more hours lately than usual, what with all the year end deals. I mean, I at least have to sample the games I buy.

Just like ET3D said, voted "under 10" although it was perhaps a bit more in the last few weeks. Although it's one of my favourite pastimes, it's hard to find more time when you have a demanding family.

university life demands that my PC be used for booring stuff like typing and reading articles, soooo my gaming time per week is about 5 to 8 hrs, i mainly game to get rid of stress, but i make up for that during vacation. now is the time for revenge...

Under 10 - bored, testing the waters

demarc has it right! Although I don't game no 100+ hrs a week, hahaha.
Apparently I'm a newbie since I work 16hrs a day, then spend 6 more of them sleeping and 2 of them gaming if i'm lucky, all of you know once you get married the wife can't figure out why you like the PC more than them, (I'll give them a hint) The PC doesn't call the police every time I call it a F***ing Wh**e for not doing what I tell it to... And I rest my case your honor.
