The Lost and Damned Review

The much awaited expansion pack for Grand Theft Auto 4 "The Lost and Damned" has been out for a few days now on the Xbox store and we can safely say that the 12 hour campaign has set a new benchmark for other downloadable content to achieve. Xbox owners rejoice!

The Lost and Damned is based on the same setting as the original title but the action has been moved to Alderney State -- the left side landmass that mirrors a section of New Jersey. Rockstar have created not just a mere mission pack but a strong standalone title within the theme of their massively successful franchise.

Having a blast with the expansion. To be honest, the graphical noise filter threw me off at first, so I did the same thing, and turned it off. Thing was that after a while I turned it back on as the game seemed to be too clean looking for the games style for the expansion. Having the noise filter on made the game feel more.. well.. grungy (don't know how else to explain it), and the new songs tied it all together.

BTW, as for the PC version, I remember seeing mention of a mod that changed and/or opened up content for the PC version, so the code is in there for it.

WTF? IF it is that easy ? why did't rockstar release it officially?
have you tried it? I can't as I don't have fileplanet account .

Edit1: After searching Most people on other forums say it unlocks weapons , skins ,songs not the missions.

I just don't get why R* are playing hard to get with us PC'ers.

The DLC worked out reasonably well for Fallout 3. So why the platform discrimination by R*?
