We had a quick look at Resident Evil 5 last month in our preview and today we play with the final release version and put it through its paces. The story? ... a power mad corporation are toying with evolution and have caused a biological disaster that turns people into brainless hosts for a military level parasitic infection.

Nope . I can't afford PC + Console so I chose PC plus I can't use joysticks for aiming.
If I to get console , I would choose X360.

Edit:
And I forgot . IT was RE 4 not 3.

the more i read about this, the more certain i am that its going to suck terribly. ill just rent the thing next week instead of buying it.
of course, after playing the demo, it kind of removed any hope of me likeing it. i cant even begin to count how many times sheeva lost her damn head because she wouldnt get out of the way.

I think you have to give such a game a few hours and then the controls will seem naturual. I'm looking forward to it, getting it on friday.

ordered, based on this review ! Hope it doesn't suck but I think it looks great. I like the video content on this site, always helps to choose the games you think you will like to play.

If my local Asda store has this for around £20, (they were selling SF4 for £20) then I'll buy it. Noth sure whether to get it for the 360 or the PS3 though?

This looks really good and a great job on the review guys

On controls they have always been awkward on the PC the first game was terrible but the game and story were great. I haven't played this series since the third one but will be checking this one out !!

RE5 was the tipping point for me and it made me go out and buy an Xbox 360. I briefly tried out the RE5 demo but it's gonna take some effort getting used to that damn gamepad lol. I'll definitely buy the game on the 360 soon as it's out because I just don't trust them to do a proper PC port.
