Red Faction: Guerilla (PC) Review @ GH
Read the Review Here
________________ Red Faction Guerrilla has finally made it to the PC and with the GeoMod 2.0 engine you can blow up and damage almost everything in the game. You can fire rockets, detonate charges and even smash through buildings with sledgehammers to get the job done and everything reacts realistically. It is the latest in a brilliant list of PC games released this month - you just need to make sure you have the hardware to handle it. |

Re: Red Faction: Guerilla (PC) Review @ GH
Very good. I disabled ambient occlusion because it was causing some..hiccups during driving, I set AA to 0 (I almost always do regardless of the game), and resolution down to 1680x1050 for a just in case, all other details at max and the game flies. Very rarely I will notice any noticeable drop in framerate. The game is very very fluid to me. (using catalyst 9.8)
Originally I set the resolution to 1920x1200 with everything on at full, and the game was very playable, but the min framerate was some times noticeable. I mentioned a few things here http://www.hardwareheaven.com/gaming-d...rrilla-pc.html I heard bad stories about SR2 PC(even my experience with the 360 version was far from perfect), but this game I would be an ass to complain about performance.
