Left4Dead was one of the most successful multiplayer games in recent years so it made sense for Valve to follow this up with a sequel .... however a portion of the core audience felt it was a rash move to make one so quite so soon. Left4Dead2 we are happy to report however is a fantastic game and improves on the original in many ways.

single player in this is a blast. like serious sam but with zombies.

i got the game yesterday and passed it..

While the aspect of killing zombies and whatnot isn't bad...

i really thought it was a bit of a poor game.

Loved serious sam, specially co-op, this game.... i'm rather disappointed with it. (the AI in it is retarded to)

just my opinion.

Serious sam was great, I actually think Left4Dead2 plays a lot like it with the hordes of units. Not sure the point about AI, they are zombies, not rocket scientists.

When the game was released the market was flooded with FPS games that were all too serious and moving to the tactical aspect. When Serious Sam appeared it was a breath of fresh air from the earlier days of first person gaming (not the very first mind you, the 80s first person games were more slow and almost adventury). You could just focus on the shooting part and not care about anything else or much thinking. Plus it looked awesome on its day and played even on not top of the line PC. All that from an unknown small team from Croatia which just a few years ago was at full war. Pretty impressive if you ask me.
