StarCraft was not only an amazing seller for Blizzard but it is still played in certain parts of the world and has turned into what you could safely classify as a 'timeless strategy game'. There is still no confirmed release date for Starcraft 2: Wings Of Liberty on the PC but we did manage to get some hands on time at the show floor of G-Star 2009, a gaming convention at BEXCO in Busan, South Korea.

I wish I could say I liked the original, never did or could feel the slightest interest in it. This looks like a great sequel and I am sure millions of people will buy it and it will be what fans want.

Nice to see the Protoss Carriers in 3D.
Also there seems to be a lot of blood in one of the screenshots and it looks like it obscures quite a bit of the view, I hope the animation for that doesn't last too long.

As long as my siege tanks are carried over I will be 100% happy. There's something satisfying when you hear them going off and scroll up to the area only to see a blood stain.

This looks awesome. I can't wait!

Hope beta starts anytime soon. Might be getting delayed by Bnet 2.0's development.

I saw the preview for this at Blizzcon

Woot.

And they're implementing a new way of communicating and all, I love how I forgot the name of it, but it's basically a steam style communication overlay, etc. It's pretty cool.
