God Of War was one of my favourite franchises on the Playstation 2 as it combined epic battles with boss creatures and a very creative use of action based gameplay mechanics. When I heard they were remaking the first two games in High Definition for the Playstation 3 to say I was excited would have been a monumental understatement. I managed to get my hands on a review copy a while ago and if you own a Playstation 3 you will want to definitely not want to miss this.

I've totally been enjoying this game a lot more on the Ps3, Definitely a great game and only 29.99 for both.

I've got both on PS2 and they are great games. It must be even better in HD.

God of War II on PS2 is really hard even for the experienced gamer. I decided to play on normal difficulty on my first play through and I'm stuck at some boss. I'm just not good enough to beat it.

I'm putting it on my list of games to buy. Thank you for the heads up, I did not even know about this before seeing this review. I just looked online and it's being sold for 39.99 CAD in Canada.

Mmmm, this looks good. Wish I had a PS3. With most PS3s not able to play PS2 games, at least in Europe, I like conversions like this.
