Veteran gamers among you will remember Alien Breed which was released in 1990 on the PC, it was a top down shooter and placed you into an sci-fi style movie complete with a hostile alien race. Alien Breed Evolution is a ‘reboot’ of the original game, updated for 2009.

I remember playing the original game on the Amiga. Very fun game and it was very much like Alien and Aliens in a computer game.

I am glad that the famous Team 17 decided to revisit the game.
I hope they will release a Windows version too one day.

To people who don't know how this (probably) is, imagine a mix of Aliens vs Predator games + Serious Sam + Dead Space, only in birds eye view.

PC version is "supposed" to be coming next year on Steam, but who knows when. Can't wait personally.

On a side note, anyone wanting something similar might want to look into Shadowgrounds or Shadowgrounds Survivor, or the Alien Shooter series, all of which you can get pretty cheap on Steam.

Yeah, there are plenty of games similar to it now. Space Siege is one, Restricted Area, Harbinger, SpaceHack etc.
